💡 Çekilmez! He can, she can, they can — hepsi aynı. "He cans" veya "she canes" gibi bir şey yoktur.

Be able to, can'in özellikle gelecek zaman ve perfect tense'lerde kullanılan alternatifidir. Şimdiki zamanda ikisi de kullanılabilir.

⏪ Could — Geçmişteki Yetenek

Could, can'in geçmiş zaman biçimidir. Geçmişte sahip olunan bir yeteneği ifade eder.

🏊 I could swim when I was five. Beş yaşındayken yüzebiliyordum.
👁️ She couldn't see well without glasses. Gözlüksüz iyi göremiyordu.
🎸 He could play the guitar as a child. Çocukken gitar çalabiliyordu.
⚠️ Dikkat: Geçmişte tek seferlik bir eylemi başarabilmek için could değil was/were able to kullanılır.
✅ She was able to finish the exam on time. (o gün başardı)
